Developing Partnerships

Executive Director for ADRA Canada, James Astleford, discusses the work that ADRA Canada is doing around the world by developing partnerships with communities in remote villages of developing countries. In a shrinking world, we need to build relationships by extending a hand of friendship through the sharing on knowledge and resources. In this video, produced in 2009, this work of developing partnerships through community development is illustrated by a story of how students from Canada made connections in their “global village” by travelling to South America and working with people living in a dry zone of Brazil by helping them develop a rain water collection system for their homes.
