ADRA Canada is happy to announce the arrival of a new staff member in our Supporter Relations Department and to also let you know about two of our current staff members who are taking on new roles.

Janice is a member of the Toronto West Seventh-day Adventist Church and since 1997, she has had a deep passion for ADRA’s work. She has been active in various roles in her church from going door to door raising funds for the ADRA Annual Appeal to being Toronto West’s ADRA Ambassador for the past five years.

In April, she accepted her dream job as our Volunteer, Events, and Connections Coordinator. With over 16 years of event management experience, Janice is responsible for planning and executing ADRA’s events and overseeing all volunteer engagements.

For Janice, “ADRA is the perfect place for me because of my passion to see people live good lives.”

Accuracy, attention to detail, organizational skills, and a creative flair are assets that Crystal brings to our agency.

Crystal accepted her first position at ADRA in 2015 as our Supporter Relations Assistant. After four years of working in this role, Crystal will now be utilizing her skills in her new position as our Fundraising Coordinator. Crystal is fluent in French and looks forward to continuing to serve supporters from all over Canada.

Crystal is excited about this new role: “I am looking forward to engaging our supporters and Ambassadors on a deeper level in meeting the needs of those in poverty and distress.”

After working full time at ADRA Canada for four years, presenting in churches and schools across Canada and visiting projects abroad, Heather has shifted gears. A new mama of a very active one-year old boy, she now works part-time as our Publications Coordinator. Heather has always loved writing for ADRA and she is thrilled to be responsible for much our writing needs in the Supporter Relations Department. We are happy to welcome her back!
