ADRA Canada is excited to welcome Daniel Saugh to our team at the Newcastle office as our Canadian Programs Manager.

Born and raised in Toronto, Daniel is a product of both Adventist and public education. He attended York University completing his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences and Health Studies/Promotion, his Master of Divinity and a Masters of Science degree in Community and International Development at Andrews University (ATS and School of Graduate Studies/Behavioral Sciences Department respectively). He also completed a Masters of Public Health in Health Education/Promotion at Loma Linda University and was part of the first Health Leadership DrPH program cohort. He has completed graduate training from Tyndale University and Duke University.

Daniel has been in pastoral ministry for over 20 years spanning 7 churches. He has also been a Chaplain with the Canadian Armed Forces for over 10 years and with the Toronto Police Service for over 7 years respectively. He has been trained as a Disaster Relief Chaplain, Health Promotion/Education Specialist, ICISF trained educator and a registered psychotherapist.

He has served as an ADRA ambassador for many years and has a passion for sharing the gospel through compassion ministries by serving the community.

He is convicted that we should be agents of change wherever we are and exert a positive and transforming influence for God’s glory so that we never leave people the same way we first met them.
